  • Waste Management

Nature’s bounty is very wide but it’s not inexhaustible.

As part of best practice in the community, Bongo Wildlife Clubs have participated in Waste Management awareness education. They have visited best practice locations, such as the William Holden, Mt Kenya centre to generate ideas for their communities.

    Considerations:
    a) Anticipate the future
    b) Understand the consequences of our actions
    c) Envision alternatives and make wise choices
    d) Take responsible action.
    e) To consider future generation and the responsibility we have towards them.

    REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE.

Ideas….Try to use items made from natural materials like hand woven baskets - bio degradable materials. Retain jam jar bottles to re-use to store tea leaves, salt, sugar, cocoa.  Convert plastic bottles into a green houses! (See photos below)
